Leap Pad 2- yay or nay?
I'm deciding if I should get this for my 3 yr old for Christmas.
Please tell me about the leap pad because I have never "played" with it so don't know what to expect.
I know games are pricey - Are the games fun?
Anything I should know about it?

Leap Pad 2- yay or nay?
My DS got one for his third birthday.
Although he likes it - he would rather play with my iPad - or if DH let him, his Kindle Fire.

I can see that! So would I! lol
We don't have a kindle or ipad in the house so there won't be anything to compete with this. I want to keep this kid off my phone so he needs something for himself.

I was contemplating the ulta but since I don't know if he'll like it, the cheaper one may be better for us.
The ulta is wifi ready so that you can install apps without plugging in, right?

My 3 yr old DD loves hers. The games are pricey but they are also educational.
they are not allowed on my kindle/ipad/etc. so she has nothing to compare to.

Just got it from Gamestop for $39. Giving it as an Xmas present to my 3.5 dd. I think she will love it.

Same all around. My little one just got it for his 3rd birthday last month and he's been very satisfied with the few games we've gotten, so I don't think you have to load it up with ten different $25 games. I think I paid $10 each for the ones I've downloaded.
