When people take 20 minutes to get out of their parking spot while doing their makeup, brushing their teeth, straightening their hair, etc etc all while they know you're waiting for their spot.

Yes! All of these. And also when people refer to their husband as "the hubs" or "the hubster". And pregnant as "preggers"
I also can't stand made up words like chillaxin and amazeballs.

Ugh I hate that. There is one store where the baggers put like 1-2 items in a bag. I come home with like 30 bags! So annoying.

This is one of my biggest commuting pet peeves:
When I'm waiting in traffic to get off an exit (for example from the SSP onto the Meadowbrook), and people just zip by in the middle lane, then cut in at the end. Who the hell are you that you can't wait like the rest of us?!!

Yup.
Or the douches who see you trying to merge onto the highway who speed up and refuse to let you in.
On a related note, texters on the highway.
I saw some dumb girl doing this during one of the snowstorms when there were literally crashes all around her on the Northern State.
I beeped at her and pointed and she basically rolled her eyes and kept doing it.
I'm sure my pointing it out is a no-no too though.
I think there was a thread on a Friday on that same topic.

Also:
Cyclists in central park that ride in a swerve line making it nearly impossible to safely pass them.
Cyclists that listen to headphones while riding a bike.
People that listen to their headphones so loud that you hear their music.
People that insist on fighting with cashier about something insignificant when there is a long line of people behind them.

Let's talk pet peeves
People (especially older woman) who wear so much perfume it makes me choke. Especially in a restaurant (this happened yesterday. A bunch of them at one table I actually had to move seats) Oh and when those same ladies were talking so loud. I am not there to listen to your loud xinversation !

I'm bumping this to change it up from the crying thread and also bc something just happened that annoys the sht out of me.
When people check out at the grocery store and keep shopping running all over the store while the cashier and all the people behind them are waiting for them. How about you finish your shopping and then get in line you self centered ahole. Just sayin.

I hate when the sheet falls off the bed. The thought of my bare skin touching the mattress just kills me.
I hate when ppl don't use blinkers.
I hate when I say how are you and the response is a demand for something. Ex: I worked in a deli. Me: Hi how are you? Customer: Italian special. Umm ok.
When people eat cereal in front of me. The wet chewing and spoon scraping. Yucky.
Many, many more.

All of these my DH does LOL
~chew with mouth open
~hit his teeth with his utensils as he eats
~blows nose obnoxiously loud like a trumpet
~constantly picking/messing with nose
~talking with hands that come too much into my personal space.
~flossing in places other than the bathroom
Things that DH used to do when we first started dating that I stopped...
~burping loud at table after meals (gag)
~blowing nose at table after meal
~talking with food in mouth
I don't blame him too much bc at his family dinners, all you hear is constant nose blowing and loud burping from everyone, including the women and they think it's hilarious lol

I was thinking of this one this morning too.... when people come in to work with NASTY attitudes and get nasty with staff & management... unnecessarily. They calm down and get in better moods once they realize they are here and not home, but come on!

Let's talk pet peeves
A pet peeve of mine is when someone is ordering something, either at a fine restaurant or the deli/bagel counter and says "Lemme get..." It's my opinion, but I think it's rude.
I also dislike watching the news and hearing "gonna" "wanna" or "hafta". We're not talking small-town, here. I guess I just look up to a fine news organization as someone who should be demonstrating the right way to speak. In person, on the street, at home- whatever. I say these things sometimes. "gonna" just rolls off the tongue too easy. Haha It makes me wanna write them a letter. Well, I'm gonna hafta now.
