LI IVF Questions
If you go/ have gone to LI IVF. Can you share which office you go to? I live in southeastern Nassau, work in Garden City. (I know RMA is also in GC but they unfortunately do not take my insurance). I have been going to RSoNY in Mineola since its literally 10 min away from where I work but I can't do the long wait times anymore.
When do monitoring hours start and how long are you usually there for monitoring?. If you have had an IUI done there, how long are you typically waiting to get one done? Just trying to see if there are any other options for me moving forward.
TIA!

Re: LI IVF Questions
Oh I just saw this now- I know there is an office in Lake Success, that's not too far from Garden City!

LI IVF Questions
The Lake Success office is definitely smaller and more quiet than the Melville office, but that being said, they also have less staff there performing the sonos. Monitoring is 6:30-8am. You just sign in and wait to be called.
There were some days I got to Melville at 5:45am for 6:30am monitoring and still was the 3rd person. Lake Success seemed less busy. Mondays are always the worst since they push off as much over the weekend unless it's necessary.
As far as IUIs, those are done in the Melville office. The first IUI appoint is 8am I believe and every hour after that. The appts are on first come first book basis. The sperm sample processing takes about 45mins - 1 hour and then they do the IUI. They usually ran pretty on time for the IUIs.
Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

LI IVF Questions
I go to Lake Success. Their hours are 6:30 - 8am. There is hardly anyone there after 7. I usually arrive around 7:15 and am out by 7:30 am.
IUIs are a different story. I had my first one last month and was there for almost 2 hours which my husband who came with was not to fond of. Melville is a bigger office so there tends to be more people there.

Re: LI IVF Questions
I go to the Melville location. IUI tools about and hour and half. They have to wash the sperm which takes about 45 mins to an hour. This was pretty much on the scheduled time.
Monitoring I've been in and out in anywhere from 30mins to hour if its really busy which was only once or twice. I've had 3 IUI's with them.
