List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
My district is on there and we received a good plan from the school. They may not have bothered to submit to the state until Cuomo was going to say they were to open. So I question the validity of this list.

a good plan means nothing if they are not getting approval from the state. I hope they send it in by Friday or everyone will be remote.

Re: List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
2 of the districts on this list are close to us. I know one of them has plans and says they submitted them. The second I'm not sure what they are doing. I can see a lot of parents in that towns FB group are fighting for 100% remote. Maybe not submitting plans on time is their way of giving those parents what they wish for.

Yes mine is a top 15 in the state, nevermind just Nassau. I would think they have their act together and know what they are doing. We shall see in a week.

Re: List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
After reading the superintendent of Rocky Point earns over $547K a year, I would have expected that he present his plan while riding up to the state building on a white horse, with the plan written in calligraphy in gold on a scroll.

List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
Several of the districts listed on there have submitted their plans and have publicly stated that they have received confirmations. So it looks like an error. My own included.
The state couldn't even get the unemployment system to work correctly according to the hundreds of thousands of posts on Facebook. So I don't even expect them to get this right

Re: List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
Our district sent something out on Facebook that they did in fact submit a plan for an in person return yet they were on the list. They said the list is wrong. The state can't manage it's way out of a paper bag apparently

List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
So supposedly, a lot of the schools on the list did submit plans but, may not have submitted to the right agency.

List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
I have family in Plainedge and follow their Facebook page. They just posted that they definitely submitted their plan on time and have a receipt for it.

List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
My district is on there, and in our moms group a board of ed member posted the email confirmation from the state that the plans were sent. So the list is not accurate.

My district is on there, but we received letter from the superintendent that it was submitted. So I would not go by this list.

Records show he made more like $220k last year so either you're source was wrong or he got quite the raise recently.

The $220k is just salary - once you include benefits and other wages - the number is a lot higher.

That's what I saw from seethroughny which I though was the actual total pay? Not sure what you mean by other wages?

Re: List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
My district is NOT on the list but they just sent parents an updated plan which is completely different than the previous one. I feel like everything is just messed up right now.

Re: List of schools that did not submit a reopening plan
My district said they submitted a plan but are on the list. I read an article that seemed to say the plans needed to be submitted to Education Department AND the Department of Health - and that the list was of districts who only submitted to education department not both as required.
