London hotels- suggestions?
DH and I wll be going to London in late November. I'm looking for a hotel that is not too pricey (anywhere from $200-300 per night) and close to most attractions. Does anyone have any suggestions for a hotel or about what are we should look in?
Thanks

Re: London hotels- suggestions?
DH and I stayed here on our Honeymoon in Nov 2005 - Great hotel and a great location. The tube was a block away.
Harrington Hall
There is another hotel in London also in the South Kensignton area that I stayed at the first time I was in London, but the name is escaping me at the moment. I'll have to check when I get home.
ETA: Also, for a European hotel, the room was VERY spacious as was the bathroom.

We loved the Grosvenor Hotel. I have no idea what the current rates are but we loved the hotel and the location was perfect for us.

Park City in Lexham Gardens/Kensington, about 4 blocks from the Glouster Tube Station.

Ditto! Stayed here a few times while in London and absolutely loved it. The little restaurant downstairs serves a fantastic breakfast and the little bar area is nice for a late night cocktail. It's not a far walk to the Earls Court tube as well.

Re: London hotels- suggestions?
in july we stayed at the Radisson Edwardian in Kensington. it was steps from the Kensington tube station which is right on the central line (so quick and convenient to all attractions in London).
also, the double decker tour buses pick up/drop off right on the corner and there are cute pubs and a starbucks (lol) across the street.
enjoy!

If i had my way, I would stay at the Hempel...but its £££££ but probably way worth it!!!
But alas, I am just a peasant and would probably stay somewhere cheaper..
