Re: LOST TONIGHT....

Maybe Shannon did get stabbed and someone else got the bullet???? and they didn't show us that ?? could that be a possibility? Now, did Shannon really die last night or do we find out next show?

And I purposely made sure that when the talk about the 'others' was mentioned, it was not that the others "killed" that was left open ended. I don't think all were killed.

I do believe Shannon died. She's not contracted for the show any longer (Maggie Grace, that is). But yes, I think she was stabbed. Maybe AL was shooting at the stabber, who knows? Or maybe she was shooting at movement... Creepy Wet Walt? I don't know, all of that is pure speculation but I think that based on those screen shots, it's clear that the bullet from AL's gun was not what killed Shannon.

And Sandra, I agree - they were "taken" except Goodwin who is probably the corpse that Jin and Michael found. In my head, they were taken by the Others as slave-types to run their projects or to be their projects (because I believe that the Others are part of the experiment(s) on the island).

Maybe the 'incident' from Orientation was something that made these scientists mad scientists, causing them to turn on other people Chat Icon

*Phew*! That may not have made sense because I'm heading out but I hope it did a little bit.

Re: LOST TONIGHT....

and i believe Walt is still alive......but maybe brainwashed at this point....He was too strong of a kid not to try to get to his dad, unless he might be brainwashed. (clinical psychologist?)

walt is the carrot that is being dangled to draw them all to the 'others' if they start going after walt...

he may not have, and i actually hope he didn't

too predictable

however, you cannot ignore the fact that shannon told the dog, go find walt, and the dog took her to boone's grave

there has to be a tie-in there.

I don't buy the "the dog isn't a bloodhound theory"

UGH are we going to rehash this entire thing AGAIN??!!!

Chat Icon

And how do you figure that "boone killing shannon" is "PREDICTABLE" ... FAR FETCHED is more like it!!

OK my venting is done..

I truly hope you are WRONG, and not just because its your theory, Don. I just think it will be a stupid direction for the show to take ... and I probably would lose interest fast if they start up wtih that type of nonsense Chat Icon

it would be total irony

Re: LOST TONIGHT....

it's simple

boone's dead
he and shannon have a history

how many times on TV have we seen a character that is supposed to be dead, come back to life? -- happens all the time.

Thats why i say, it would be really predictable for them to do the old "boone's not dead, and he killed" shannon line.

It's been done before.

like i said, i hope the writers are smarter than this, and i believe they are.

but I contend, you can't rule out the vincent-walt-boone's grave tie-in.

ummm... that's pretty hard to do when you are all on an deserted Island together. They showed the body as it was lowered to the ground. Boone would have to be pretty craft to make a dulplicate body of him that could fool all 40 something survivors. It wasn't like a soap opera where there is a hospital or funeral home and something... you actually saw the body go into the ground.

I think people are overanalyzing this too much!!! I think that either AL killed Shannon with the gun, or someone stabbed her and AL killed the stabber. We'll find out in a week and a half. I am interseted to know what happened to the Tailies during their 40 days. Maybe the others in the camp were just kidnapped.... But I can't WAIT to find out the fall out from Shannon's death.

1. we saw a coffin being lowered into the ground. Whether or not a body is in there is another story.

2. this is TV -- nothing is based on logic when it comes to TV.
