Low grade fevers... WWYD?
Gianna has been running a low grade fever on/off for the last 4 days. It has been anywhere from 100.3 to 100.9 (all done rectally). She has a history of UTIs, with a diagnosed case of reflux (her urine backs up into her bladder and she's on amox until 1yo ).
Anyway, I brought her to the doc today. They took urine from her and it came back normal. The doc looked to see if any teeth were coming soon, and no sign of them.
Is it normal for my dd to just get a fever for no reason? She's otherwise behaving fine and she is her usual happy self.
Thanks for your input!
(PS - Her doc is going to start thinking I have Munchousen's syndrome (sp)...lol)
ETA: I give her tylenol pretty much once a day - nighttime - and I'm not sure how great this is to do either...

Re: Low grade fevers... WWYD?
This has happened with my DS too- low fever, either with no other symptoms or with lethargy. The few times it has happened, it was never more than 24 hours. I chalked it up to his body fighting something off.

Thanks, ladies! It's hard when this happens because I don't want to be too lax, yet if I get myself too worked up, it's not good either. Still working on finding that happy medium.

Re: Low grade fevers... WWYD?
DS's body temp tends to go up "artificially" alot. I would make sure b/f you take her temp she is not worked up - crying, laughing or particularly over heated from warmth. Maybe this will make a difference? When DS is running around alot his temp is MUCH higher - I wait a few min and it goes down dramatically.
Also, wanted to add that at a certain point ped said only to give tylenol if fever was over 101.
