well another thing to add besides all the other crap im dealing with. I went in for progesterone ck this morning and the nurse called me back saying it was a bit on the low side (9) and to start doing the Endometrin supps 1x day bc they want to see it 10 and up.
My prog is never great - when i had it checked in oct i belive it was about an 10-11. That resulted in a bfp and my prog increased up to 16 on its own. When it dropped to a 6 i started the endometrin but mc anyway (im not sure if it has anything to do with the prog bc we found out i have a clotting issue)

SO here i am - mad bc i have this stupid prog problem on top of all the other things. Im thinking i dont even want to start the suppositories. If im not preg ill get af sooner (right?) and start up next cycle again.
I feel like when i clear one problem another one arises....

Absolutely do the suppositories!!!!

definitely do them. as soon as i stopped them, i got af 2-3 days later. this way, you can have a blood test to see if you are pregnant or not.

I dont have the suppositories, but i was prescribed PROMETRIUM, which is a progrestorone supplement. I have to start day 18 which is tomorrow after doing th IUI this week.

My old GYN said she doesnt have much evidence to support a benefit to supplements, but that it cannot hurt. She thinks its more of a calming effect on the mind.

This new dr. thinks highly of them. And honestly, i think one of my issues is a shortage of progesterone in the LP part of my cycle as i start spotting sometimes a week before AF.

So we'll see..maybe this is what i need.

It cant hurt you to take them so i would do it.

although suppositories kind of gross me out
