Low laying placenta
Just got back from my 20 week sono and OB appt.. I was told I have a low lying placenta about 1 cm from my cervix. Its not placenta previa (sp?) but I was told to try and refrain from sex!!! Not fair!!!
Does anyone have this? Do I really need to stop BD'ing all together? He kind of danced around that question.. and so did I because I didnt want him to say no sex lol.
Help!!

Re: Low laying placenta
I was also diagnosed w/ partial placenta previa. I am to refrain from sex and exercise until further notice. Do what the doctor says, b/c it could lead to a c-section or the baby coming early. She said sex could irritate the cervix and cause bleeding.
