low lying placenta and cervix funneling?
Hi,
Went for my 20 wk sono a few days ago only to find out about me having a low lying placenta and cervix funneling....doctors put me on bed rest until further notice...
Do you think i will be on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy??? Im only 20 weeks and its been 5 days on bedrest and it feels like forever!!!
Thoughts...?

I've never heard of a funneling cervix, but I know that placentas typically move up as they (and the baby) grows and the uterus stretches.

I have never heard of a cervix funneling. Did they explain to you what that is?
I think it is pretty common for your placenta to move up as the baby grows.

i also have a low placenta but i have a doctors appointment tomorrow to go over my results from my level 2 ... i was told to take it "very easy" after work and during the weekend... never heard of a funneling cervix though???
