Mantel over the Fireplace
When we moved in we attacked the extension and DH put in sheetrock and painted. The brick wall remains along with the fireplace but we don't have a mantel...with the holidays coming up I really want to hang the stockings over the fireplace...especially DS's stocking.
Prior to work:
So...anyone have any suggestions? Where can we get a mantel...even if DH has to install it himself that is fine.
Thanks!

Re: Mantel over the Fireplace
Home Depot and Lowes carries them. They are precut and in pieces, but easy to assemble and mount to the wall. They have lots of different styles as well.

Thanks so much. I thought this would be something custom made or special order...didn't even think about those stores. This is great. Now we can actually get it done.
