A vaccine that is PROVEN to work in minimizing COVID symptoms, hospitalization and death is a placebo??????  This has to be the absolute stupidest comment I've ever read in my entire life. You literally don't know what a placebo is AT ALL, do you??????? When a vaccine or medication has over 90% proven efficacy, that isn't the placebo effect sweetheart.
The rest of your comment is so idiotic it's not even worth getting into.
ETA - A placebo is anything that seems to be a "real" medical treatment -- but isn't. It could be a pill, a shot, or some other type of "fake" treatment. What all placebos have in common is that they do not contain an active substance meant to affect health.
P. S. VB.......... the COVID vaccine isn't fake, it is a REAL vaccine with active ingredients in case you didn't realize that.

You called the vaccine, the ACTUAL vaccine, a placebo. A placebo drug does not contain actual active ingredients, it's fake. The vaccine isn't fake. It's very real and very effective.
This isn't a clinical trial anymore, everyone is getting the REAL vaccine. Placebo effect doesn't apply. But nice try.

Vaccines are clearly not a placebo. If it were a placebo, nobody would be having side effects, as the vile would have something equivalent to saline solution. Masks are also clearly not a placebo. A mask is not a medical procedure nor is it medicine. Just admit you are so desperate for these vaccines to be proven ineffective so you can feel better about not taking it. Nevermind all of the young people now getting very sick and hospitalized...because the virus can no longer make its way through the old and medically fragile population. Because they have been vaccinated and it is working. Michigan is on the verge of another full stay at home order. Colorado is starting to surge. A majority of the ICU beds are now occupied with those under 40. Children's hospitals are even setting up long term care facilities for children who are having long term side effects from COVID.
But I don't even know why I bother. Because the only comeback will be "but Texas".

That’s because everything is considered Covid.
My oldest actually was just tested for strep and had the beginnings of it but is fine as it was stopped right away. It is still out there but you never hear anyone having the common cold anymore. You don’t find that odd?
I meant for my kids and my family. Every year we get the flu, the kids get colds, strep. This year nothing for us!! And it's due to mask wearing, social distancing, others staying home when sick (which is a big thing) and proper cleaning.
