Mattress pad

I just got word that DS new bed will be here next weekChat Icon
But now I need to buy sheets, blankets and a mattress pad. I'm so confused by the reviews online about the pads. I need something waterproof b/c I will be potty training DS but it can't make him sweat b/c he does enough of that himself. Can you recommend a mattress pad and where you got it? TIA

Re: Mattress pad

We got a twin mattress pad at Target. It said waterproof. Kaitee has puked and peed in her bed and none of it leaked through!

Re: Mattress pad

I bought 2 of them
One fitted vinyl pad
The other is a padded waterproof pad and put that on top of the other one

I got them both in Bed, Bath and Beyond or Linens and Things

Re: Mattress pad

We got a waterproof pad at Bob's, when we got the mattress. We've only had it about a week, so it hasn't been "tested", but it automatically bumped up the Bob's warranty from 5 years to 10 years...... (they don't deal with stained mattresses)

I am not their yet but definitely get the pad. Our mattress was stained from the dog and me sweating while I was pg (lovely right) and when I called sleepy's they said the warranty was void because we didn't protect it.
