Mediterranean Cruises
Hi Ladies and Gents,
I know a few of you have already taken Mediterranean cruises. I am looking into a 12 day cruise basically of Greece, Italy and Turkey this summer. Would you mind sharing how much your cruises cost and where you booked? FM if you would like.
Thank you!

Re: Mediterranean Cruises
We went on one in September, but we did Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Mallorca. It was Royal Caribbean and was around $8k for 7 nights I think. We had an awesome time and I highly recommend it!
ETA: On my way to work this morning, I realized that the $8k includes the excursions and the money we spent there. I think the actualy cruise and aurfare was $5k.

Re: Mediterranean Cruises
We did a 12 day Princess Cruise in June. I found the same itinerary as ours on the website, but we were on a different ship. Link I researched the cruises a lot and IMO this one has the best ports! There is not much time at sea so it is exhausting, but that is what we wanted, to see as much as possible. I loved this cruise because it was like a mobile hotel... we were out all day, came back, had dinner, went to a show, went to sleep, and when we woke up we were at a new port. The price depends on when you go and what kind of room you get. We went early June and had the cheapest room (I always get the cheapest room because we spend no time there, just sleep and shower) and was about $2K each. I booked directly on their webiste and booked the airfare seperately - it was a lot cheaper that way. Airfare was direct from JFK to Rome, and direct home from Venice to JFK, was $1K each for coach on Alitalia. We stayed before in Rome and stayed after in Venice... grand total including before and after hotels and all excursions we probably spent around $8K. I also recommend cruisecritic.com for help in planninig the cruise. It was a lifesaver! There are cruise reviews and info on excursions and hotels that was very helpful.
