Re: Melting Pot in Farmingdale
Thats Great!
We went to one down in Myrtle Beach in September. It was the first time we have ever Fondue-ed.
It was a lot of fun.
I think if you go on there website ...you can get a coupon for it

Re: Melting Pot in Farmingdale
What is the vibe like there? Does it have a nice bar area or is it more of a family place? I'm thinking it's like a fondue version of the Cheesecake Factory.

Re: Melting Pot in Farmingdale
A few questions for those who have been to the one in CT.
Can you get any other food besides cheese fondue and meat fondue? DH doesn't eat cheese and I hate meat fondue (had it in Denmark, though it was terrible, the meat doesn't cook through, it's greasy, ugh, it was horrible).
I love chocolate fondue though.
So 2 questions, one do they have real entrees? Two, do they have a bar/lounge, where you can get dessert and drinks?

I'm pretty sure you could go in just for dessert, but they don't have any real entrees. From what I remember, there is a pretty nice bar.... but I think food wise they only serve fondue (and salad).
ETA: I just looked at the website and it does list some entrees.... but I can't figure out if they are cooked for you or for you to cook in the fondue....
