Milk Question...re: yogurt and mashed potato's
I know our babies aren't supposed to have milk until 12 mos. of age, so how come mashed potato's and yogurt are ok? I am confused

well, its not that babies cant have milk until they are one, it is just that they need FORMULA (or BM) until they are one. milk does not come close to offering what formula and BM do....

I think the dairy in yogurt is processed in some way that is easier to digest.
Mashed potatoes don't need to have milk in them...

THOUGH...Stacey posted something about her dd having a milk allergy the other day and took her to the ER. Look up the post. I would ask a dr before beginning dairy. Her dr said to add yogurt at 7 months.
