Minivan with BENCH SEAT in 2nd row

We have been looking for a used minivan for months now with no luck. Time is ticking and we finally found one but it has a bench seat in the 2nd row. We wanted captain seats in the 2nd row. Anyone have this and would it work with 2 infant seats in the 2nd row? The bench does not go all the way across the van. There is room by one door to get to the back row where 2-yr-old DS will be sitting.
BTDT will this work or not?

My mom has a Chevy Venture and this is the layout of it.

We haven't used it for more than one seat, but could you put the infants in way back if needed?

Or, I would go see the van and bring your seat bases to see how they install. You don't need to fit them perfectly, but snap them in to get an idea.

I have been in the insides of vans like that. I am pretty sure you can fit 2 carseats in it. I would check the user guide to make sure.

Does it have doors on both sides? If it doesn't I think it would be a PITA to have to squeeze in there to buckle them up

Just double check also that the bench has 2 LATCH systems available (if you were planning on using that). The bench in the 3rd row of mine only has one latch system in the middle seat, but the 2 individual seats in the second row both have it (something i didnt even think of when buying).

My father just sold his Dodge Caravan (to my brother) and it has the 2 captain chairs, then the bench.

i've seen both, honestly, i'd hold out for captains chairs in the center row.

we bought a chrysler pacifica because of the 2nd row captains chairs!
