Moms, did you wear makeup when you went to the hospital to deliver?
I did and didn't really think anything of it but people keep commenting when they see pics how they can't believe I wore makeup while delivering a baby.

I was induced both times so yes, I had makeup on. My mom still is amazed that I had lipstick on for the whole ordeal and that I should be a commerical for long wearing lipstick

I planned to since I was having a scheduled c-section but I had to leave for the hospital at 4:45am and just couldn't get it together in time, lol. In looking at the pictures now, I sooo wish I had the time. Next time, most definitely!

No, I didn't put on make-up or my contacts. By the time I realized I was in labor I knew it was a little too late to think about make-up.
But I hope I get some on next time

Not for my DS, because I rushed to the hospital at 2 AM with preeclampsia.
My DD was supposed to be a scheduled C-sec but arrived 2 days before I was scheduled. This time I was able to go to the hospital more at my leisure, so I showered and shaved, put on a little makeup, fixed my hair a little, etc. It was such a pleasant experience in comparison!!!

No, and I was a scheduled induction. Just too lazy to do it before we left If I had more ambition, I would have put some on!

No ,but if I had time I would have,and I wanted to ,but by the time I realized I was in labor I had her 1 1/2 hrs later that was dd#3 ! DD#1 I went in for a Biophysical and never left , so I wasn't prepared ! dd#2 I was watching a movie with Dh and by the time I realized with her I didnt have time either ! I really wish I could have put my face on first lol

no way. I stopped wearing makeup at 8 mos anyway. I felt so gross towards the end of my pregnancy no makeup was gonna help.

No. I always showered and left for the hospital-but I'm not a makeup person.
I couldn't wear makeup even if I wanted to b/c I go with out meds and during labor I am ripping my eyes and cheeks off. I'd have eyeliner on my chin. I'd be a hot mess.

I don't think I did, but I am not a big make-up person. I was home all day when I was in labor, so i probably did not put any on to begin with.
I did put some on the day after DD was born. It made me feel so much better about myself. I still looked like crap, but in my mind I looked nice!

No, and I'm glad I didn't. By the time I was done pushing all day and night (induced), I only got to my room at 1/2 am. There was no way I wanted to find facewash to take it all off. I wanted to clean up and go to bed.

I did when I checked into the hospital at 9:00pm the night before I was being induced since we had gone out to dinner before going to the hospital.
I didn't for the actual labor and delivery since they started my induction bright and early the next morning

yes- but, that's because I got up in the morning, got dressed and put on make-up.
If I had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night, I can't see myself saying-- wait, gotta put my make-up on!

I took a shower and did my hair, but no make-up. Although I did bring it with me, thinking I'd put it on after I gave birth LOL....THAT didn't happen! LOL
