no, but after I got my epidural I made my SIL straighten my hair with a flat iron.

I took a shower (2x) and a bath before going to the hospital...put hair gel in my hair and put makeup on-

BUT, I was in labor so long that I look like DISASTER in all of my pictures- frizzy hair, no makeup- swollen face- glasses/no contacts!

I had a scheduled c-section, so yes, I had plenty of time to prepare and since I knew I was going to be in pictures that day, I did my hair, my makeup, and got a mani & pedi the day before!

lol--i went into labor at 1:30 in the morning 3/20 and DH was dying that I put make-up on before we left

I didn't I felt too gross and sore to out any on.

Nope. But I never wear makeup.

i did not, because i knew that afterwards i would look like a freak. I had a vaginal birth with an epirudal and i looked like a freak afterwards without the make up anyways.

I had come in in with straight hair and ended up with a frizz ball.

But, my dr was a biotch face that turned off the epi so clearly there was a LOT more labor involved on my part

No but I tried to blow out my hair though that was a total waste of time. I can only imagine what my make up would've looked like if I tried that.

If I had any on, it was left over from my baby shower, which was the day before.

But otherwise no.

Yup! I went in to be induced and the first round of induction was unsuccessful. So, while at the hospital, they let me shower. I took a full shower, shaved my legs, blew out my hair, and put on my makeup. Then I went into labor that night after I was induced the 2nd time.

I didn't but all my kids were born in the wee hours of the morning.

Nope, but I don't ever wear make-up, so it would have been really odd if I had!

I most certainly did, but it didn't last and I left my make-up bag in the car. I'll remember to bring it in next time!

i went into labor in the middle of the night and, thinking that i had a lot of time, i showered and put on makeup.

turns out i didn't have as much time as i thought... but the makeup stayed on

I had planned to and always assumed there would be time...but, there wasn't - by the time I realized I was actually in labor (i had all back labor so didn't recognize them as contractions) the pain was so bad I could barely walk let alone put on make up! I went to the hospital with my night face cream on crusted in my eyes I remember one of my friends went for a scheduled C-section - she had her hair blown out - full make up.....

No. I didn't even get to comb my hair either time either. I was a mess!

I did but it was all gone after the entire labor/delivery process! Guess I needed more

No, I didn't wear makeup - didn't think to. I don't think makeup could've really helped my "look" by the time I gave birth to DS

I did...I was doing my make up in between contractions. Not that it made my huge swollen nose look any better but whatever :)

I had it on because I went to work at 9am with my hair all blown out nice too!! But that's only because I did not realize my water had broken & that I should not have gone to work!

I had put makeup on in the morning and went into labor at night so I still had it on.
