Moms of boys 1st Bday questions.. Updated

What theme did you do and do you have any good ideas or tips? DS's birthday is May 27th, was thinking of doing it outside at my moms. I need to start planning ASAP!

DH really wants a sports theme... So I think thats what I'm going to go with... if you have any other ideas or places to get stuff .. instore or online that would be great!

I didn't do a theme, but I used all "baby 1st Birthday All-Star" decor. Its like sports and such.

When my DS turned one we just went with one of the themes that went with the plates, cups etc, because I loved it....


If I have another boy, I would like to do a Little Prince theme if it's still available

DS#1 -- sesame street elmo

DS#2-- construction theme

For my 1st sons 1st bday it was in may and since its the beginning of summer I did pails/shovels

Oh... Mason's 1st b-day is May 28th!! Happy birthday to both boys! well, in a few months.

We're doing a "construction" theme. cones, trucks, jumping castle, ordering sandwiches and wraps, giving out pails and shovels filled with candy.
Go to Party City. They have a lot of cute stuff
