Moms of Boys, I have a question
DS has been wet on his back a couple of times. It is pee but I am wondering how it goes up his back and not in the front. Is there something I can do to prevent this? Could it be the diaper? What brand do you use? Thanks.

I have no idea how it winds up on his back--this happens to my DS sometimes too. Mostly with Huggies diapers.
I use Pampers Swaddlers--they really work the best for him, hardly ever leak.

I have been using the Pampers. It is so weird how it goes to the back.

Not sure, but maybe you need to go up a size? I have had poop up his back a few times this week  and I think it is because he is getting too big for the size we are using.

It happened to my oldest too when I did not make the diaper tight enough at the crotch, so it was kinda saggy and the pee just pooled when he was lying on his back

I used pampers with my son when he was first born because thats what the hospital used. He had the same problem, half the time the diaper was barly damp! We switched to luvs with him and never had a problem after the switch.

we had this problem w/the pampers, now we use huggies and all is good! check the size too, if its too small or too loose this will happen :)

i was told to make sure when you put his diaper on that his wee-wee is put down,that helps so he dont pee on the front of him,i dont know about the back

Sometimes, when his diapers are a little big you can hear it "puddling" in his diaper. Maybe it slides up the back then which tend to be less absorbent than the front of the diapers.
We use pampers swaddlers and huggies gentle care. I like both but like the huggies a bit better. My DS leaks out the back a lot and huggies seem better for that.

I have this problem with poop and it is horrible! It doesn't matter what size diapers i use. I keep going up and up. The latest I am using is cruisers size 3 and he doesn't need to be in them yet!

My son used to be wet up his side. I couldn't figure it out. I thought he was peeing out his side!! (not really). Anyway, my aunt told me to make sure his little pee-pee was facing up (like towards his face) when I put on his diaper, and ever since I did that, it was fine.
Try it, hopefully it will work!!
