It annoys the crap out of me when people do that to Luca. Umm, the camoflage and blue hoodie didn't give it away for you?! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: mom's of girls...

I used to get annoyed because anytime I put her in blue people assumed she was a boy- even if it was a blue DRESS! When I would correct them they would say, "But she's wearing blue!" Ok, my little girl can't wear a blue dress?

I'm shocked at how many people know that my DD is a girl since I dress her in a lot of boys' clothing. Chat Icon She's only been mistaken as a boy once and I only blame myself for that since I had her in khakis and a boy's long sleeve t-shirt with a skull and crossbones.

Emma is usually in a dress or girly colors, has a pink stroller and had a pink infant seat and was still called a boy.

Re: mom's of girls...

I find it even harder now that its getting cold and she has a chocolate brown corduroy jacket.
We were in Target today and she was in the shopping cart with a pink gingham cart cover and these two women were fawning over her and one of them says "oh, he's so cute." The other one said "Thats not a boy, can't you see the pink seat cover?"
I just let it go. It annoys DH much more than it annoys me.
