Re: Moms of later walkers....
ds was 17 months. i didnt think it was ever going to happen. lol. its perfectly normal for a child to not be walking even as late as 18 months. after 18 months your doctor may recomend evaluation. dont worry. your dc will get there and then you better look out, cause they never stop!

Re: Moms of later walkers....
Andrew was 14 months, and Lauren was about the same time frame (maybe 2 weeks sooner in time frame). Seriously, one day she wasn't walking, the next day she was! Matteo will walk before you know it! ARe you coming Wednesday??

Thank you guys so much. You know how it is, it's like I know it's normal but then people ask a lot if he's walking yet and I keep saying no and then I start to worry.

Re: Moms of later walkers....
I posted a similar poll last week, but my choices were 9-14months. :-P I think most of the ppl who post that their babies are walking are usually the early ones. I haven't seen too many posts like "yay, my kid is walking at 16 months!" So, initially I thought DD was incredibly late also. She started walking a few days ago. She'll be 14 months in 2 days, but her "corrected age" is 13 months. I think the real average is 13-15 months.

Not to worry...Kerri doesn't walk yet. She cruises around and I know eventually she will, but I am enjoying not chasing her around yet, it will come soon enough
