Re: Moms of may/june babies...
Marron was born in late April. She wore alot of those "gown" type things for the first month and then alot of onesies. In July/August, I did put summer-type clothes on her but when we were inside, in the ac she usually had a blanket on. I probably would have put them on her sooner, but they were just too big for her (0-3mos). So for May/June she wore mostly the stuff you find in NB. I too was afraid of her being cold in the ac. These are what I mean when I say onesies:

Onesie t-shirts (if there was no AC or we were outside)
I bought a bunch of those cotton pull up pants from Carters - that match the t-shirts.
He lived in light cotton footed onesies at night.
He also wore those one piece short sets. They were easy to get on and off.

Re: Moms of may/june babies...
DD wore onesies around the house mostly, and I had some cute dresses, rompers and other items for when we went out. Those worked great for us - and I used blankets when it was cool - DD had some heat rash so my ped recommended that I not dress her too warmly. It was pretty hot the summer I had her.
My ped recommended that I not dress her too warmly and to dress her as DH and I would dress ourselves.
I think you should have cooler/lightweight items b.c it will be warm and you don't want them to over heat but then have items that can be layered so that if it is cool or the AC on higher you can adjust depending on the situation.

Re: Moms of may/june babies...
MY DD was born May 22. She wore onesies with little cotton pants over them inside. When we'd go out for walks I'd put her in outfits that were onesies with no sleeves or short sleeves and short length or shorter. She slept swaddled so that kept her warm. And at night we'd put her in a gown (so easy to change in the middle of the night!)

I bought a bunch of these: (no sleeveless though) IMAGE
and alot of these: IMAGE Very light weight though...
Baby is due 6/5... I just can't decide if I should return some of the sets for more onesie short outfits..
Nate was born June 1st and he wore a lot of stuff that you posted from Carters (even the sleeveless ones) and short sets. Sometimes they came with little hats, which were great. I also always carried a sweater and light blanket in the diaper bag, if we went anywhere that had AC blasting.
