Moms who applied for Child Health Plus for their kids
How long did it take for you to hear back from them? I mailed the application on Jan.13th (it was overnighted and sent receipt requested so I know they got it). DD is only covered by my insurance for 30 days and she has a dr. Appointment on the 18th. I'm nervous that we may not hear back from them in time.

According to their site if they got your application by the 20th then you should be covered for the 1st of the next month. So as long as they received your application by Jan 20th, then she should be covered as of today. I would call them though because we had a problem the 1st time we applied b/c they said we had to verify some income info or something.

I was supposed to mail it to the actual insurance company ( we sent it to Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield) so should I call them or should I call CHP? Thanks for the help!
