where do you keep your kitty litter?

We have very limited space and were thinking about when we have our next child and we need to use up the ohly other room we have (which is where the litterbox is now) We have no idea where we are going to keep it.

we used to have it in a corner by our door on the first floor and honestly we had so little space we put the other under out kitchen table. We never ate in our kitchen so *shrug*

We planned to gate off the kitchen and of course the stairs when AJ started to crawl

3 cat mommy here.

Now in Texas I only have two and their litter is in our master bathroom. Its large enough with the double sink that it goes literally on the opposite wall of our toilet.

I have mine in the basement of our house. We are going to put a "cat door" in the basement door once the baby starts crawling so we don't have to keep the door open anymore.

We used to keep it in our laundry room, but recently moved it to the basement when my older cat passed away.

We have it in our laundry room. We put in a cat door so they can go in and out and the door can stay closed.
You might want to look into getting one of those cabinet-type things that the litterbox can go inside.

We used to live in a 1 bedroom condo- what we did was put it on the floor in our linen closet in the hallway. it was on the floor and we were able to push the door over to try to hide it a little. worked great for us for years. good luck!!

Re: Moms with indoor cats (esp if you have a small house/apt)

when we lived in a 2 bedroom apt we had it in the laundry room...

that area was always gated off (for the dog who liked to munch on kitty litter)

they sell kitty box pieces that look more like it should go into the living room.
