According to the "stable genius", he said he was cured. Are you doubting that he was cured? He couldn't possibly be lying about that. He said he felt better than he had in 20 years. According to his own words. If he's wheezing when feeling better than the last 20 years, that's saying a lot.... it's worse than I thought. Based on his own words.

I believe he had it like many others have, not as severe symptoms.
Is he still wheezing?

When is he NOT breathing heavy? Every time I hear him talk, he's constantly doing that heavy breathing thing. That's not how someone who's in-shape breathes. That's how someone out-of-shape breathes.
I never saw him do that on Celebrity Apprentice. It's really only in the last few years. His health is going down fast.

Lastly, almost all of the economic gains in the early years of the presidency were from Obama's policies. It's not a switch that goes off on January 21st.

The economy has come back under Trump. Not sure if anyone has looked at their investments.

The economy and the stock market are 2 different animals. The economy is production and jobs.
The stock market has had continued support from the Fed whereas Congress controls fiscal action thus more effect on the economy.
Big Business is doing well with increased market share from mom & pop shops closing. Favorable tax legislation and decreased regulation. That lines the 1%'s pocket.
How have be come back? He was given a growing economy and we are now in a recession. The country is cash strapped with the biggest national deficit ever.
GDP grew in the 3rd quarter only because the facet was turned back on but it's drawing from a bucket of water that is finite. Of the 22 million jobs lost - only 1/2 are back.
Do you know what housing is going to look like eviction and foreclosures are allowed to happen again? Where do all those business owners and their employees go for work now that their business is gone? There is no job creation currently.

ITA and that is why the governors need to open up their states more so people can get back to work.

You said the economy has come back under Trump and pointed to the stock market as evidence of such.
I disputed that.
It has nothing to do with governors.

The loss of jobs and not being able to pay rent or mortgage go hand and hand. That was done by govenors shutting down their states economy.

So the shut down of our economy is the governors fault but the rebound of our economy is the President's doing? You can't have it both ways.
Maybe if the Trump adm. took the outbreak seriously from the beginning?
Here are some numbers...

U.S. gross domestic product grew at a 1.9% annual rate from the time Trump was inaugurated in 2017 through first quarter of this year when the coronavirus hit, a bit slower than the 2.4% annual growth rate in the equivalent period just before Trump took office.
Job growth slowed slightly over that same period, from 223,000 per month under Obama to 185,000 under Trump.
The total annual return of the S&P 500 SPX, 1.68% Index rose slightly over that period, from 9.3% under Obama to 11% under Trump.
The only economic feat Trump can say is his own is our current recession. That is all him.

Power was given to govenors. There is no denying that and many states are fully open and people back to work.
The borders were closed and if you remember Biden didn't want to close them but he will be the person to come and save us all. He will close us even more and we will be even worse.

If he didn't keep up with his schedule and missed going to places to campaign, I would be worried. He went to 3 different states 2 days ago and then left for the 4th to campaign the next day. Biden went to 1 state and 2 places in that state on the same day.

The travel ban?
You mean the travel restrictions on 1/31? There were already reported cases in the US on 1/24. It was also only restrictions from mainland China and this is after how many fled Wuhan? Millions left before quarantine and restrictions.
This is what Biden said...
“We have right now a crisis with the coronavirus, emanating from China,” Biden said on Jan. 31 at a campaign event in Iowa. “A national emergency worldwide alerts. The American people need to have a president who they can trust what he says about it, that he is going to act rationally about it. In moments like this, this is where the credibility of the president is most needed, as he explains what we should and should not do. This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia – hysterical xenophobia – and fearmongering to lead the way instead of science.”
It's not clear wat whether Biden was referring to Trump's travel restrictions or his overall qualifications.
But, it all comes down to who cares what Biden said...he wasn't the President. Trump was and this is his watch...his circus and his monkeys.

It's amazing where you can do on Air Force One and how many air fields you can hold rallies in when you travel that way.

Trump can paint his own reality but that doesn't make it true.
He has done very little positive in his term and for all of you that look at your investments and think .."Oh wow...this is great." I hope that you have more to hold during this time then your investment statement.

Most important issue for the next 4 years

Keep it simple. Any national leader (and one that is the leader of the "free world") that refuses to not only wear a mask but MAKES FUN OF others for wearing one (calling it a diaper) during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC

AND THEN CATCHES IT AND TURNS THE WORKING GOVERNEMNT INTO A HOT SPOT

is a BUFFOON!

Keep it simple.
He is a failure.

Most people raving about investments don't.own.any.

Like one of those many Trump fans who rave about the stock market and 401ks but don't own stock or even has a 401k.

I know plenty of those people. It's unfortunate.

"Look at the stock market!!"

"Yeah, how are your stocks doing?"

"I don't have any. BUT LOOK! YAY FOR THOSE GUYS! Gotta go, gotta make it in time for my 3rd job. MAGA!"

Thanks. I think most already have their minds already made up or have already voted.
Not here trying to persuade anyone just asking a simple question as many are doing much better than they were 4 or even 8 years ago.

Laugh all you want to the...well, I know it's not the bank.

From Reuters: 84% of stocks owned by U.S. households are held by the wealthiest 10% of Americans. So when the stock market has a blockbuster year - such as the nearly 30% rise in the S&P 500 benchmark index in 2019 - the payoff primarily goes to people who are already rich.

I am laughing as I believe you. I also know many are in the stock market and have invested for many many years of their lives. They might not be rich but it is better than nothing.

You could write a book on all of the times that trump couldn't remember who he was ACTUALLY TALKING to.... like the CEO of Apple, Tim Apple.... Chat Icon

I’ve seen it in its entirety and still doesn’t make sense even if there was a stutter problem and even if he meant to say Gorge (Lopez) instead...“The character of the country in my view is literally on the ballot, what kind of country are we going to be. Four more years of George uh...George, going to find ourselves in a position if Trump gets elected...” Why say “of”? Chat Icon

I've also had a stutter my entire life. Speaking is hard. We are constantly trying to figure out what we'll get stuck on, how to work around it, etc. It's a legitimate handicap. When I speak, I am always thinking 10 words ahead to see what I think I'll get stuck on, while at the same time trying to focus on the words that I'm currently saying. That's why I prefer typing.

So, we can either make fun of or question the mental ability of the guy with the known speech impediment, or ask why the "stable genius" doesn't know the difference between "orange" and "origin"...

“I hope they now go and take a look at the oranges, the oranges of the investigation, the beginnings of that investigation,” Mr Trump said. “You look at the origin of the investigation, where it started, how it started, who started it, whether it’s McCabe or Comey or a lot of them.

“Where does it go, how high up in the White House did it go? You will all get Pulitzer Prizes, OK? You’ll all get Pulitzer Prizes. You should have looked at it a long time ago and that’s the only thing that’s disappointing to me about the Mueller report.

“The Mueller report I wished covered the oranges, how it started, the beginnings of the investigation, how it started. It didn’t cover that, and for some reason none of that was discussed.”

He did not even remember Trump's name. They interviewed him and his wife, and he called him George Bush.

or he has a stutter and he was talking to his interviewer, George Lopez....

No one is making fun of his stutter, which I don't think is bad anyway. You can NOT deny he said George and you can see his wife all embarrassed as she even knows how bad he is and still allows him to take these interviews (but has pulled him away from questions as she knows how bad he is getting).

Because they will go back to the stuttering problem or something Trump has said or his weight or whatever.
Just admit it, the man is older and not at his peak anymore and honestly can not run this country if he wins. This is all set up that Harris will become president and we all know it. They are making a mockery out of this poor man who probably was a very smart, on the ball person in his prime.

I also think this country needs to elect someone young. Hopefully this is the last year we have choices of 2 old men over the age of 70.

If for nothing else..Trump should never be elected President again. He's a criminal. He can pardon himself but he will end up in a state prison along with his grifter children. He should watch every sun set in the shadow of bars on his window.

On another note...there are clips from the debate. Joe seems to speak pretty well.

Good Lord. Talk about spin. You do know WHY children are separated from adults when attempting to cross the border illegally, right?

Hint: It’s not so Trump can go to bed pleased that he destroyed families.

Seeking asylum in the US is not illegal. People arriving at the U.S. border have the right to request asylum without being criminalized, turned back, or separated from their children.

You seek legal asylum at a Port of Entry-not in between. And no, people who arrive without any documentation should not be allowed to travel into the United States with minors who could be potentially be sex trafficked.

While you would like people to seek asylum at a port of entry it’s just not how it happens. I have literally argued asylum cases in court so I have plenty of first hand knowledge. Most asylum seekers can’t just hop on a plane or drive to this country and get to a border and say “hey I want asylum”. They are sneaking out of their country due to the various persecutions they face in their home country. So they get here any which way they can and then go from there. All the asylum seekers I have the honor to work with we’re living and working in our communities. They shouldn’t be treated as criminals. Those that came with their families were kept together and every single one of them made all their required legal appts and court dates. Most asylum seekers are also coming with forged documents If any because of the issues in their home country.
