Movement VS Braxton Hicks VS contractions
Can someone shed some light on this
I am not sure if what I am feeling is a body part (due to movement), BH's or contractions
My stomach gets painfully hard, like a rock and then releases after 45 seconds to a minute
they are nothing consistent but I have been feeling this all morning
anyone know what it is?
I am not used to BH's as I did not get them with miki

Re: Movement VS Braxton Hicks VS contractions
Sounds like Braxton Hicks. Sometimes I will feel a tensing up at the top of my belly, but that is because the baby is breech and she's shoving her head way up there.

Re: Movement VS Braxton Hicks VS contractions
I've read that Braxton Hicks do not repeat at intervals and intensify the way real contractions do.

I am having the same thing as you all day today. It is definately BH contractions. I am going to see my OB in an hour & plan to have them hook me up to the monitor to see if there is anything "real" going on.

Sounds like BH to me too. Movement for me is usually only one side gets hard and is never the same amount of time...For me contractions are more burning cramps.
Sounds like though your well on your way to having this kiddo!

the same thing happens to me every once in awhile. My belly will tense up and then release like a minute later. It's not painful but sometimes makes me feel like I've gotta pee.

Sounds like BH...I used to get them frequently appx. 2 weeks before I gave birth. They feel like charlie horses in your belly.
