I am for Katie that this is nothing serious.
To heck with the job- nothing is more important than your baby's health- who cares what they think about you at your job?
I'm sure DH is just handling things different than you.

I'm sorrr you are going through this. Of course you are scared and should take the time off to be with DD.
However, I think your family may have a better perspective about this than you. If it were me, I would be freaking out like you. Your reaction is exactly the same way that I would react.
However, right now you don't know that anything is wrong. Of course you are worried, but it could just be nothing. Try to stay as calm as possible (I know, easier said than done) until you know what is going on.
Maybe your DH is just trying to keep it together, or maybe he just truly believes that she is fine (which hopefully she is). I find that a lot of men don't start to worry until they are sure there is something to worry about.

Prayers to you Kathy!!!!! I would react the same way you would-how could you even focus on work-it must be so hard but Schneider's is wonderful Just a bit of info-Jenna had a dimple above her anus too with the smallest tuft of hair and hers went away about 6 months old.

I dont think men react the same way we do and its very frustrating....I think us moms always think "what if" and we like to prepare ourselves whereas men just deal with things when and if they happen.
Its very frustrating though and know you are perfectly right to be researching and to be worried...hang in there and I truly hope everything turns out okay.

Thank you everyone. I had no idea this kind of thing was as common as it apparently is. I'm still very very scared that something is wrong with Katie but I feel reassured hearing from those of you who have been through this before.

I dont care if it was your fisrt day on the job...I would take the day off. Your family comes before any job....that is my opinion.
I hope all goes well Kathy. I dont think you are overreacting, just very concerned for your little angel. You went through A LOT to have her and you just want what is best for her
