mucous plug (or discharge) question for BTDT moms
how many days did it take for you to lose your mucous plug (or what seems to be the mucous plug) before you went into labor?
was it different for your first pregnancy and your second?

Only had one pregnancy but it started coming out in small pieces on like a Friday morning I think- I went into labor on Tuesday and had her that day.

I have only been pregnant once, but I never lost mine. (well I guess in the hospital it came out but not at home).

with my second DD i lost it slowly over 4-5 days.

Any time I've had bloody show (mucous plug tinged with blood) I went into labor that day. With one pregnancy I lost my plug slowly over the course of three weeks, and it was just clear.

i started to lose mine around 3am one day and had him 9 hours later!

Only 1 DS here but it came out over a total of 3 days and I want to say my water broke the following week.

i started losing it about 5 days before i was induced. i never went into labor on my own.

I lost it about a week before I gave birth (lost it at 38 weeks and have birth at 39)

Two weeks...longest two weeks of my life. I think "typically" it is sooner though.
