I'm so glad that your skin has cleared up....it is such a relief, isn't it? For me Proactiv and Pregnancy have worked...I don't know what I'm going to do when I have this kid

I just saw that in Eckerds today and was deciding on whether to get it. I may just go back and give it a try.

Re: My acne success story
I ALWAYS write about this makeup! I use the pressed form of this and love it, but need to try the loose. I believe it's the talc and mica in makeup that upsets acne.
GOOD for you; looking good.

That's great! Did you try Bare Minerals? I am wondering how PF compares!
Bare Minerals has bismuth oxychloride, which is an irritant and causes itchies. It's also very shiny, so if you're oily, I find it to be bad. Also, the brushes from BE are a little scratchy, upsetting skin further.

Really? I found most of them so soft!
I tried the liquid Physcians Formula mineral foundation, but it made me break out. I was probably oil buildup on the sponge applicator.
I did find BE a little itchy in the begining, but not anymore. Maybe I was using too much of, I'm not sure, but in general I think the talc free products (whichever works best for you) really do make a difference. (And I wish I knew this before my wedding!)
ETA- I don't use theBE mineral veil anymore which I think was the itchiest & shiniest, I just use the powder foundation & the all over face colors.

Go for pressed or loose PF; you will love it. I toss the brush included in the pressed compact and replaced it with a regular puff. I apply it with a puff or my own brush. Great for touching up during the day. I want to try the loose, too!

Thanks, I think I may try that, although I am pretty happy with BE. I could probably use a pressed powder for summer. I think the line was new when I tried it, and then I figured I'd just try BE since it was popular.
I want to try the PF eyeshadows, b/c they are supposed to be matte colors--the BE are a little sparkly for work.

Re: My acne success story
WOW what a truly inspirational story. My cousin has been suffereing with acne and cysts since she turned 21. The day of my wedding, my makeup artist told her to try switching makeup. After years (and $$$$$) we have noticed an incredible difference in her skin. She uses (don't remember the name) but its mineral and is sold at sephora. It's hot right now you guys will know it.
Congrats to you!!!!!! You look fabulous!

Re: My acne success story
wow - congrats!
I don't have an acne problem, but I DO have a major dryness problem...I love Physicians Formula mineralwear! I prefer it over bare esentuals/minerals....however, if I need long-lasting coverage, I stick with my MAC studio fix pressed powder.

Your skin looks amazing!
I'm so happy for you...I've noticed a difference in my skin too after using bare minerals makeup, and switching to cetaphil gentle face wash.
You're so lucky that you have no scars!

how is the coverage on the PF?
I just bought the PF foundation and pressed powder with no talc yesterday.
The foundation comes in a tube with a sponge attached to the end that you just squeeze it out onto. I really like the coverage! So far, so good today.
I like the pressed powder too, just not the brush. I think I'm going to do what Lana does and replace it with a puff from another compact.
ETA: They were out of the Neutrogena Stress Free wash, but I'm going to try to get it tonight

Re: My acne success story
Wow - you look amazing!!!!!!! Thanks for posting your experiences.
I am definirely going to check out the PF makeup. I found my skin to be really bad when I came off the pill. Sooo - I went back on
I wear MAC all the time now, but I want to supplement with something else - something a little lighter for the summer so I am definitely going to try the PF!
& I also have to say - whether it was before you had skin issues or after - You never take a bad picture!!!!!!!!

all of the Walgreens/Rite Aids/Eckerds will be out of this stuff! Like when the Jergens Natural Glow came out- it was nowhere to be found.

I just bought the pressed powder last night. It covers so well I don't think I need a foundation under it. Thanks Melissa!
