My doggy is sick WWYD? UPDATED BELOW
I think my almost 2 year old Golden retriever, Luna, at a few "mystery berries" in my yard before I could stop her. We have a tree that has never flowered or made berries before. We are cutting it down this weekend. To stop the berries. We don't know what it is.
Yesterday Luna threw up shortly after breakfast (I saw evidence of a couple berries). Throughout the rest of the day she drank water, pooped, peed and played just like any other day. I fed her about 1/2 of her usual dinner and she ate it with no issues.
This morning she seemed a bit calmer and quieter then usual, didn't eat quite all of her breakfast. Which is unusual. Today, she's been somewhat playful, eager for her usual walk, nose is wet and cold, breathing seems normal. Maybe sleeping a bit more. Poop - a slightly looser consistency but nothing alarming.
I plan to see how she does with her dinner and not take her to Vet yet unless she vomits again or has diarrhea.
WWYD? Is watch and wait OK or should I get her to the Vet? She seems better and better as the day goes on. I'm just rattled because it isn't like her to leave any food in her bowl. If she refuses dinner or breakfast I'll take her tomorrow.

I'd give it until after dinner. She may be just really hot or the berries might have upset her stomach. Just keep an eye on her.

How big is your dog and how many berries do you think she ate? I would take her to the vet, along with some berries if you can get them, if she doesn't seem herself later on.I hope she is all better soon. It is so scary when they do things like that and you have no clue what it even was that they ate.

I would just watch her, it definitely could be the heat, or the berries just upset her stomach a bit and she's getting over it. I think you're doing the right things already!

I'd watch her and just call the vet. Most times when I call with a concern, they tell me to watch make sure pup is eating, drinking and behaving like themselves! If not, then you bring them in.

She ate her dinner happily.
She is totally back to her goofy, silly, playful little self.
Can't wait to cut down that evil tree that poisoned my puppy! Don't get me wrong, I love trees, we will plant something safer to replace it this fall.
