You're going to hate me, but IMO the dark rug closes in the room more...I think it looks smaller and it blends with the sofa...

I love the rug and the room looks soooo much better without the tables. We took our coffee table out about a year ago to make room for DD to play and honestly we haven't missed it at all!

love the new area rug. Chat Icon Once you get the new TV, I would try playing around with the area rug under the console table. Not sure if you need to or not. It might be good right where it is.

Maybe some blue pillows or even a blue throw on the couch would look really nice. The slate blue or light blue would lighten the couch up for you. Than the orange can be brought in, in a vase or art work.

Have you thought about painting the AC unit with appliance paint? White? We did that to one of the older AC units in our house in the apartment to make it look newer. It really made it look nice. And paint the trim around it white. Just a thought. Chat Icon

The room looks great!! Where did you get the coffee table you originally had in there- was it 2 seperate pieces or one that comes apart?

We have a tiny living room and I'm looking for something I can use for a coffee table- but also move to the corners when we want more space.

TIA!!

Make me an offer I can't refuse. Chat Icon Kidding.

They're two separate pieces. I originally saw them at Pottery Barn but refused to pay their insane delivery charges. Found the exact same ones at JCPenney for a fraction of the cost and picked them up from the Lake Grove store with my car!
