DH and I have it and it only costs us about $60 a month total. We are both covered.

I am so sorry for your friends loss..

In regards to life insurance... I think it is very important to have it and everyone should at least try to incorporate it into your budget...

If you can you should consider whole life too... Speak to your financial advisor regarding life insurance it is the best way to go...

We just got ours last week. It was one of those things that we kept saying we were going to do.

We EACH got a policy. Alot of people only get the Dh to get one because chances are they are the breadwinner, etc. However, what happens if YOU pass away. Shouldn't your DH be taken care of too? We thought about this and said yup, we should each get one. Costs a little more but the peace of mind we both have now is such a relief.I have a great agent if anyone's interested - she's my sis

We cover both of us but I belive DH holds the 1million and I hold $500K. We did it this way based on financial planner recommendation of our situation. That's why I think it's best to have someone help advise you on how to buy your policies.
