My turn - Luke got bit today at daycare!!
I know it happens & I know it is something kids his age go through. I was very calm when they told me, but then I saw it. It looks so bad. It isn't just teeth marks. It is like a big round circle, like the kid dragged his teeth down his arm and then a mark from the bottom teeth. Sounds like the teachers handled it well. They iced it and held him for awhile, they said he was really upset.
This was the first time, so I didn't say much. Hopefully it will not be a habit and this was a one time occassion.
It makes me so sad

Lucas' are delicious kids!!!! Believe me, I know 
I'm so sorry that he was bitten...yes it happens and for all we know our kids can and will bite one day too...but that doesn't make it any better when you see the marks.
Every single time my son was bit it left awful marks for days...sometimes even really deep bruises. It pains you to see them but at the same time it amazes you to see how the kids just move on and continue their friendships and their day all happy.

I can relate. DS was bit too last week at daycare. I recieved a phone call from the director that they were playing nicely and the child leaned over (they thought he was going to kiss my DS on the cheek) and bit him
He cried for a little while and was fine. He had a semi-circle of teeth marks on his chubby perfect cheek
That was the first incident and it has not happened again. I asked if DS can play with children with no teeth going foward
Our poor boys!! They are just soo sweet.
