I make my own Chat Icon I went the DIY route after I tried lots of store made natural ones that didn't work. The homemade one works wonderfully.

Equal parts (about a cup each I guess):
Coconut oil
Baking soda
Cornstarch

I often will add a little more coconut oil in the end to give it a smooth, creamy texture. I store it in a airtight glass container and a batch lasts a LONG time.

You could also Google other recipes.

Is this still working well for you? I was thinking of trying this myself since Toms is just not cutting it

You just mix everything together?

I just whipped up a batch today. So far, this has worked!! Even better than regular deodorant so far. Thank you pennycat!

Yup! You have to keep at it because between the baking soda and the cornstarch, it's lots of powder and you don't think it's actually going to all blend with the coconut oil, but it does.

Here's the website. I realized it's actually not equal part everything, but it's not an exact science so..

1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup cornstarch
5 tbsp of coconut oil

I've sometimes made batches that didn't work as well and I find if u just mix in a little more baking soda and cornstarch it helps.. so if your first batch is just eh, then tweak it.

That's brave! How long did it take not to smell anymore?

Not implying you're smelly but you know what I mean Chat Icon

I make my own and it's almost exactly this recipe but I use arrowroot powder instead of cornstarch, and I add in tea tree oil and lavender essential oil. It really does work better than anything I have tried and I have tried a lot of them- the crystal rock kind, activated charcoal ones, and Primal Pit Paste and other similar brands.
