Need clothing for photoshoot advice....

We are doing holiday photos and family portraits tomorrow afternoon... I have DD's holiday dress, a tutu holiday outfit, but I want something for her to wear for the family portraits... and what should DH and I wear? Its an outdoor shoot, so I was thinking jeans, brown sweater and uggs or boots? I want something fallish...

I have one outfit I got DD but I think she looks too boyish... so Im looking for something else... any suggestions? I Want it to be something relaxed yet classy....

I have skinny jeans for her, a purple button down shirt and a vest from janie and jack, just not 100% in love....

any suggestions?

eta: here is the outfit I have now.... Im just afraid its too "tough chick" looking... what do you guys think?

we just did a photo shoot the other week. DH and i were in brown sweaters and jeans. DD#1 was in a red sweater dress, brown leggings and boots with a longer jean jacket. DD#2 was in jean overalls with a red sweater and brown robeez boots.

we were going for a more holiday theme with the red, but i really liked the sweater dress with leggings and boot look for DD#1. the overalls kept on unsnapping for DD#2 so i don't recommend those .

when we did our shoot, DH wore a black half zip sweater and jeans, i wore a charcoal sweater dress, leggings and boots, and DS wore jeans, a plaid shirt and a sweater vest.

I am a BIG fan of black or brown shirts, dark jeans & boots! (kids included!!)
