i have no idea how I have taken a "personal shot" at you- I have tried to clarify that what I was posting had nothing to do with you personally or any type of Northern superiority that you accused me of...
I'm sorry you think I was taking personal shots at you- I wasn't trying to.
As I said, you are reading into what I am saying WAY too much!!! Take it at face value- it wasns't meant to be interpreted or a personal attack against you.
I do not think saying someone is being sensitive is a personal attack...

This has turned out completely off what the original post is about... This person wanted to know housing and job status... Well it has been everything but...
Jobs on long island with a business degree. You can find them as long as you are willing to work for a big box company. The turn over in these companies are high. They are always looking for more qualified people, such as someone with a degree.
As far as homes are concerned... It is tough on Long Island.. The houses are way overpriced for what you are getting... You have to make a decision... Good schools or good area... If you want a good school district then you will pay more for your home... If you want a bigger house then you will pay for what you get... Maybe not the best of areas...
Personally you should take a drive through the island and you will get a feel for what area you want and so forth...
I was born and raised on Long Island and I don't think I will ever leave...

Thanks for all the help and replies. I'm actually packing right now for our trip to LI. We are leaving tonight.....it's such a long trip (I've only been home exactly 2 weeks since out last 10 hour trip to see my family).
Oh well, it's worth it!!!!
Once again, Thanks!!! I hope the weather is good (a breeze would be nice) because it is suffocating hot here!!
