Need Menu help for a Housewarming party
We are throwing a housewarming party soon, for a total of 10-12 people. I am drawing a blank of to what to serve...
So far on my list are: Green salad Wine Apple Juice Martinis
Pretty sure i am going to need more food!
Any ideas of something that is not too boring?

Re: Need Menu help for a Housewarming party
I would probably do app's/foods that can be shared.
Homemade pizza with fun toppings
swedish meatballs (SO easy and crowd please, get a bag of frozen meatballs, stovetop heat can of cranberry sauce and chili sauce, drop meatballs in and cook)
a veggie plate with dip
a 7 layer or buffalo chicken dip
antipasto platter--cheeses, meats (salami, soppreata etc), roasted red peppers, articokes, olives, mushrooms
if there are kids I would add chicken fingers

Re: Need Menu help for a Housewarming party
Thank you so much, everyone!!! Lots of very good suggestions here!
I am thinking of doing chicken & shrimp paella for a main hot dish. I have always wanted to make it! Is that too crazy??

I think that is a great idea! You could do a Spanish theme and have a bunch of tapas (using some of the hors d'ouerves ideas already posted.... Some could be easy things, like a platter of Spanish cheeses, meats, olives), the paella, maybe make a big batch of sangria. Very fun - love it!
