Need Opinions on what to do in DD's room

DD sleeps in our room. We cosleep....oh who am I kidding she sleeps with us because she hates her crib. We know it's a bad habit and we need to get her out of it so we got a toddler bed and put it together in our room. DD is much more fond of the toddler bed than the crib (i.e. she doesn't scream when u put her in there LOL) and we are working on her sleeping in her own bed in our room through the night.
Now DH took apart her crib and its sitting in her bedroom. I don't want it sitting there in pieces on the side so here are my options...have DH put it together as a crib buy a cheap crib mattress and leave her bedding set on there so it's still like a nursery she just doesn't sleep in there or turn the crib into a full size bed have it as a guest room/DD's room.

I know the latter is probably the best option but I don't want to feel like I took her nursery away from her too soon KWIM...I guess its just sentimental because she really doesn't sleep in there just plays there ocassionally.

I don't want to leave the crib in pieces either because then her room will start to look like a storage area and I don't want that. So WWYD?

I wouldn't leave the crib taken apart and left in her room. I also wouldn't put the crib back together if she's not going to use it.

Can you store it until you want to convert it to a full size?
