Need to vent about RSVPs, or lack thereof!
Sorry, but I really need to vent. I've been planning my sister's bridal shower & 19 people have not bothered to RSVP. I included my phone number & email, trying to make it easier for them to respond, but do they??? NO! I'm so frustrated! I would think that if I'm willing to spend $42 per person, the least they can do is let me know if they're friggin' coming! Now I have to chase them down because the restaurant needs a headcount. So annoying! Thanks for listening.

I wish I could say it got better for weddings, but it doesn't. At least it's your sister's headache then.

I still to this day....do NOT understand why it is so hard for people to respond...especially such a large amount!! We had the same problem for our wedding and I had to track so many people down weeks before the wedding! Im married almost 9 months now and I think there were still 1 or 2 people that never responded

i hate people who are so inconsiderate. i have no shame and have no problem tracking people down to say ar eyou coming or not and calling repeatedly to find out.
i'm worse than a debt collector!

I feel your pain. I had the same problem planning my sisters shower, she had the same with mine and the same went for the weddings. Wait till people RSVP yes and then dont show and dont even call. I had a group of 10 ppl on my dads side that RSVP'd yes for my wedding and then didnt come. I loved paying for their meals that they didnt eat! Good luck!

I hear ya. I think it is so rude for people to not respond and for wedings its even worse. If you think enough to ask them, the least they could do is respond. It gives me a bad impression about people when they do that.
