I would also make sure you pick the kitten up frequently. If you do so as a kitten, they won't mind being handled as an adult.
Not sure what you are planning with claws - but touch the paws often. When you start clipping the nails, it will make it easier if they are used to you touching his paws.
Also, remember that bad habits can start young. Do not use your hands as toys. If the kitten wants to play, get a toy or something other than a human hand/arm for it to play with. Otherwise it will play with your hands and could bite you (not intentionally). My cat unfortunately is in this bad habit and we are trying to get him out of it!
Cuddle and pet the kitten often. if he doesn't mind being picked up and moved, place him on your lap. If he has these pleasant memories as a kitten, when his is bigger he will be comfortable sitting on you.
Enjoy and take a lot of pictures - they grow so fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
