How's everyone doing??
I can't believe I'm hitting my 7 month mark this week I need time to slow down!!!
I know how you feel about the time thing. I was talking to one of my coworkers and I said "I only have 15 weeks left..." She was like "HOLY CRAP THAT WENT FAST!!"
I go this weekend for my glucose test... Not looking forward to that...
You'll be fine! Which one are you taking? 1 or 2 hour?
I went for the 2 hour. I dont have high hopes though... I thought I was going to pass out about half an hour after I drank the stuff... I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the doc says when they call...
You never know!! i thought for sure i would fail mine (just a feeling) and i passed....not only did i pass but when i looked at the results on Quest Online...they were in the low range. You may be surprised! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Same. I was completely convinced I was going to fail and I passed my 3 hour.

Should add I am dying over both of these but again... heat...

http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=1038614&vid=1&pid=671076012
But then I start wondering it may be hot for us but not for a brand new baby?
These are ALL so cute!! i didnt even think of Baby Gap when i've been looking! Are you just guesstimating on size?
I'm there with you though - yeah its warm but for the baby, is it really that warm? If it was up to my MIL, I'd have him bundled in a snowsuit
I feel like we may been safe with a long sleeve onesie, light pants and a muslin blanket...its not that heavy. Plus you know if its warm out, the AC will be on in the car and probably at home.
i LOVE Baby Gap. I just bought 0-3. I used very few newborn sizes for my son. He was born at 8lbs, 4 oz. As my friends say, my new husband can "eat off of Ex's head" so I am expecting a big baby (he's a foot taller than me and probably 10 inches taller than my Ex...)

I have to remember to ask how that works at my next apt- I haven't had anyone tell me whether I'm measuring where I should be or not...

what does that mean? Extra monitoring? Do anything differently? or just be prepared you may go early / have a big baby?

At this point, when I go to appts, all they really do is BP, urine, weight, heartbeat and measurement.
Its a really scientific method of measurement...ready for this???? They take a measuring tape while you lie down and measure from the top of your belly to the bottom. Thats it...thats the entire thing. And somehow, they can tell how many weeks you are! Definitely ask them to measure next time!
The doctor when I went the last time told me that she wanted me to have a sono at 34 weeks (he was only measuring a week and a half to 2 weeks ahead then). This doctor wanted to push that up, but not too much. She said they could do it today but what is the point really? Theres nothing they can do. So I'm waiting another 3 weeks and I'll be....32w5d and I guess see what happens. She said if he starts pushing 10lbs, they'll give me the option for a c-section.
And he's head down but that can change 39457832094 times between now and delivery

Baby could be bigger than what they are typically running at this stage. I was told the same thing, but 3 weeks ahead. I'm going for a sono on 06.14 and they'll be able to guesstimate size. The doctor said that if they think he'll be 10+, we'll discuss options for a c-section I'm hoping its mostly fluid in there

They told me that they are going to monitor his growth and possibly send me for a growth sono but only if he continues to measure ahead. Of course hubby says "THATS MY BOY!"

Yes! I didn't have them with my first but I have them now. Mainly after a long day of work and bad commute home... When I work from home I am much better...

Re: **NEW Official August Mommies Thread**
I go for my 32 week apt on the 29th. I'm honestly done at this point. I'm huge, swollen, and feel like a moose. Jake keeps moving up and down, like he cant figure out if he wants to drop yet or not so one day I cant breathe and the next I'm waddling all over the place. I'm measuring 2.5 weeks ahead, so at the next apt if were still measuring big we may go for a growth sono to see how big he really is...
How is everyone else doing??

I have my days where I'm done and other days where I'm just not ready. I'm 36w1d and I feel huge too! i feel like i start out so well at the beginning of the day and i'm just dragging myself around by 6.
Jake I love that name!!!!!!!
So he's been pretty active? So has mine, I'm actually shocked by how much movement there has been. But he's getting so big, its almost painful.
I went for my growth sono last week and they said he was 5lbs. 5oz! I go for another on July 8th. Apparently they only "worry" when you are in the 90th percentile and hes in the 79th. I was measuring 3 weeks ahead the last time they measured my belly.
When is your next appt?

This kid doesn't stop moving! Forget if there's food anywhere in the vicinity of me. Hes got the nose of a hound
My docs have said that I wont get a growth sono unless he hits 3 weeks ahead. I'm thinking he will though, I seriously look like I'm going to pop!
My next apt is the 29th after work. I hate going after work... I'm always so exhausted...lol

I'm tired but in full nesting mode. I'm obsessed with organizing (or trying to) everything in my house! So far I've gone through all of my son's clothes to see what I can reuse, washed everything, organized his toys, switched his room/closet into his new big boy room vs. the nursery and uh.. yeah. Today I plan to go through the fridge and get rid of anything expired.
I'm waiting to hear back from my 24hr urine results because they found protein in it last week. BP is fine (sometimes low) and I'm not swelling too much, but we'll see. May be the start of pre-eclampsia so who knows.
