Next step... IVF consult-UPDATE
Still bummed over BFN today. But glad to have had a convo with DH about our next step.
We do not have IVF coverage and have been going back and forth with what we should do. IUI's were never the best thing for me with my low AMH, Endo and scarred tubes. This last IUI I had 5 follicles 3 on one side, 2 on the other. Honestly, it should have worked. I'm guessing my tubes collapsed again.
Anyway... We have decided when I go for my CD3 appointment, I will make another appointment for IVF consult. Would love to go before we go away at the end of the month so we have some time to really digest everything. Hopefully there are appointments available within the next 2 weeks.
Only giving this 1 shot so we are hoping it works. If it doesn't, I know I did everything I could and will have to learn how to live CF. Either way... this roller coaster ride will be over soon.
UPDATE#1
Went for Beta this morning. Already know the answer. Just waiting on the dreaded call.
Good news is I have an IVF consult scheduled for Sept 24th. Glad I could get such a quick appointment.

We will prob be going through IVF together. You are a good responder to meds so I think they should be able to get some good embies from you, even with DOR. Having tubal issues may be the main reason why the IUI's are not working. I am hoping so much for you! Try and stay positive!! A little help may be all we need to get our babies!

Good luck! My only advice for IVF is to do your research. Research your doctor thoroughly and first and foremost advocate for yourself!

Sending you lots of good luck and wishes. I also have a low AMH. My first try at IVF i only had 3 eggs with the max amount of meds. However, the second time, i had the injections and clomid. I responded much better (9 eggs). If you only have one shot at this, make sure your Re goes over all your options!

I did 6 IUIs and now am doing IVF. IVF is less scary than I thought it would be. Ask tons of questions! You can totally do it.

This. Push for what you think is right for you - don't let them make you just another number in their factory. After four rounds of IVF I finally had a successful cycle once I took charge (to the extent possible, of course). I'm sure you've learned a lot about your body, your cycles and your reaction to certain meds during your journey. Look back at any notes you may have an try to put puzzle pieces together. Go for a 2nd and even 3rd opinion - don't stick with a doc just because that's who you've been going to. Go to the doc who not only hears you but is actually listening. Lots of luck!!!

ETA: i agree w/ the others, esp if you're OOP I would def consult with a few different practices. best of luck!

I'm sorry this cycle was a bust but hopefully your IVF will work out better for you. I agree with the above posters though that you should definitely get at least a 2nd opinion since your paying OOP. Good luck!!!!
