Nickerson beach cabana rental??
Does anyone know anything about the Nickerson beach cabana rentals? We were looking into it and I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with one. Do you know how big they are, and what they offer inside.

We went to or friend's last year. I think they got it in a lottery type system.
It was very small. It is a small room, to store beach stuff and make snacks/drinks for a day at they beach. There was a curtain up and half was used as a changing area.
I thought it was great, you have the pool, play ground and beach all right there.

thank you, I'm wondering if it's worth the money.
Do they have showers inside the cabanas or is it just a storage area? Also do you know about the bbq/eating area. I was told that there was picnic tables in front of the cabanas, is that true?

My co-worker just looked into this, to enter the lottery you had to have your deposit in by Easter. Not sure when the actual lottery is.

The lottery was the other day.
The sign up to enbter for this year was from February to April.
WE have had one for the last 6 years, we've gottne lucky with the lottery. The cabanas are small, but it's room enough.

A friend of mine has already won the lottery and asked us to go in with them. Since I've never been to that beach or seen the cabanas i was just looking for info about them.

Nickerson beach cabana rental??
I went here of the summer with my family and it was fantastic, this has been a third summer since we got a cabana. We used it almost everyday.

Nickerson beach cabana rental??
A friend has had one for years. She goes in with one or two other families and they split the cost. ( I believe it goes under one name). When it's time for the lottery they all enter so at least one gets picked. It's aweeosme and wish I lived in Nassau county.
Storage, electric, shower, picnic table, an area to leave a BBq, the pool and play grounds. My friend keeps a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave.

Nickerson cabanas do not have private bathrooms. The cabanas do have a shower. Malibu cabanas have bathrooms, but there is a 15 year waitlist for those.
