No passports, Family friendly w/turquoise waters and on the beach???
Does this exist? I've been looking into places like Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Florida, etc. and I can't seem to find anything that is really family friendly? Meaning kids clubs, water slides, etc. at the resorts and close by to a marketplace and restaurants of some sort that you may be able to walk to? I've found really nice places but nothing that really says kids will have fun here? Any ideas?

Look into the El Conquistador in PR. There were lots of families when I stayed there. They have a waterpark and their own private island/beach, which is accessible by ferry. The water there was really calm.
ETA: It is a huge resort with lots of restaurants and shops on property, but there is nothing really nearby to walk to, so it can get a bit pricey. I did overhear some people saying they had their cab driver stop at a WalMart on the way to the hotel to stock up on some snacks and drinks, etc.

St. Pete beach. Look for the review that I did - the hotel we stayed at sounds exactly like what you are looking for and was a former club med property. It was really reasonable too. HERE IS MY REVIEW
