Not really home related but Tax related...Stupid question
if you owe $ on taxes, the check you send to IRS/State needs to be POSTMARKED by April 15th....is that correct?? Or does it need to be RECEIVED by the 15th?? Or is my date completely off, lol....you'd think i'd know this by now...i am self employed and always owe $
I just want to make sure if i mail my checks tomorrow i am in the clear, i don't feel like hauling my a** to the post office today

good question!!LOL!
i would say post marked b/c isn't the 15th the last day you could file anyway?
if i remember correctly (this is going way back!!)
i remember bringing my return to the hicksville PO (i think it was that PO) b/c they were open very late ( i did my return sooo late!!!) and i remember that i wanted to get it post marked for the 15th!!
