NPR: Please pray for our little Ella--UPDATE
My dog Ella is in surgery right now. I know it's just a dog but she is our baby. She is 2 and half and was diagnosed with a severe brith defect that has now caused her to to go deaf. We have doen every procedure and every medication possible to help her be a normal dog and a happy dog but nothing worked. Her infection is so bad it has progressed into her hear drums. She is now in surgery to have BOTH her ear canals removed. They said is is very rare for her to have a defect like this at such a young age. Im so tired and every time i go to sleep i dream about Ella and anesthesia complications and just bad things. I am so worried about her. I felt so bad leaving her there. She was so scared that i had to help her into the surgery area. I almost cried. I hope she will be ok. 
I know it's an odd request but say a little prayer for her. I keep having these weird dreams of complications.
UPDATE: She has come out of surgery after 5 hours. The vet said the infection was worse that it looked on the xray. He right ear canal came out ok and but she said the canal and her ear drum were "nasty" and the infection even affected her bone and caused necrotic or "dead" bone to have to be removed. The left ear was a little better but the doctor has to remove more ear cartalidge then normal because the infection also affacted that as well so she won't be able to hold that ear as well as the other once it heals. She said it was more of a cosmestic effect than anything. She is recovering right now. The have her on a doggie "morphine" drip until her Fentenyl patch kicks in in about 8 hours and are transporting her to the Emergency Vet office since they are open 24 hours and can care for her overnight until they can transport her back to the vet office where she is now for us to pick her up.
Im so upset with the other vet office we were seeing, they just kept saying that he was just earwax buildup and that the needed to do a $600 allergy test on her when in fact she had dead bone and dead tissue that needed to be removed. That office has been so lax about her treatment. Im so glad we took her for a 2nd opnion before this got any worse. I wish we had known just how severe this actually was.

Thank you. She is a huge part of our family and i just couldn't bear if anything happened to her. The vet is supposed to call to update me after her sugery in about 4-5 hours. Thank you.

I just came back from visiting her, they have her head all bandaged up and she is wimpering and whining alot, which they say is good because it means that she it responding. She even wagged her tail a little when she saw me. They have both sides of her head shaved under the bandage and left s strip of hair from her head to her back, so she has a little mohawk. Im hoping to get to bring her home tomorrow night.
I uploaded a pic in the original post. She is doing ok though, it looks bad but she is ok.
