NPR: SLR Nikon D60
Anyone just buy the Nikon D60 SLR camera body and buy the lenses somewhere else? I have found a Nikon D60 body that is only 189.00 USA model... and am wondering if I should buy it, and get the lenses somewhere else... is Ebay good for lenses? just curious...

I don't have a Nikon, but I'd think it would depend on how much the lenes are. I mean, if you spend $189+shipping and then a lens is $200, you could just buy the D60 at Best Buy for $499 with the 18-55 lens, KWIM?
And I think some camera shops have better prices, I just happened to be in Best Buy last week and saw that price on the d60.

It could be in store? I don't know, I was camera shopping with someone for a point and shoot, but happened to see that...

For 189 I say jump on it. I dont use my 18-55 lens anymore so it would make sense to buy the body and a more $$$ all purpose lens but everyones needs are different.

I got by camera/lens at Berger Bros. for $549. They matched Best Buys price at the time and were more helpful!
