NYC DOE Teachers & FMLA
Do you know if the 12 weeks for FMLA is equivalent to 60 days? I'm just wondering if the holidays when school is closed count towards the 12 weeks or if they don't and I can stretch it to 60 days. TIA

Vacation days are included in the 12 weeks...so unfortunately you can't stretch it out.
But you do not lose CAR days if a holiday falls while you are on maternity leave and still being paid.
